If we design your site - You get a copy of all files on a read-only CD

All work includes one read-only copy of all files (including graphics and scripts) burned onto a CD. When you receive your finished project, you will be required to sign a release form stating that you have received the CD in good condition. This will allow you to edit to your heart's content. We do keep one copy of your original files. You cannot edit a read-only file. If you decide to update the files yourself, that you must copy the file FIRST and then edit the COPY. We are not responsible for lost or damaged files due to user negligence. When your project is complete, you are responsible for its safe keeping.

If you choose to maintain and update the site yourself own once it is completed, we can teach you how to do this. There is an hourly instructional rate involved. If you have the time and patience to learn how to do this, however, you can save yourself quite a bit of money on maintenance and updates. If you would prefer not to do this, we can maintain and update your site as you deem it necessary. Updates are ordinarily fast, and the cost to you is minimal with our hourly fee for updates. You will save money by paying hourly rather than paying us a monthly fee, unless you require complicated and frequent rewrites.
