Introducing your host - Carole Mueller-Brumbaugh

I am the business owner and president of Rugged Elegance Adventure * Tours. I have more than twenty years of corporate experience with an extensive and diversified background. My organizational skills and attention to details were utilized for sales training and project management for a major corporation. In addition, I have been an instructor, coach, leader, and athlete for over thirty years. My enthusiasm for sports is contagious.

My most recent corporate position was with a Fortune 500 company. I was honored for my achievements in educating, motivating, and inspiring the sales staff to reach successful goals. I also was responsible for planning and hosting corporate incentive trips.

In my athletic career, I am a certified instructor, coach, leader, and athlete in various outdoor sports, including running, hiking, bicycling, fishing, snowshoeing, and skiing. I have helped people integrate fun with exercise and achieve self-esteem and self-confidence. The belief that "all of us are winners" is portrayed through everything that I do. I truly believe that it is within the reach each of us to enjoy an active lifestyle in an elegant setting, combining nature, cuisine, and comfort.

While earning a Bachelor of Science degree, I participated in sports, lettering in cross-country and track. Later, I achieved my Master's of Management degree. I am an active member of various outdoor conservation clubs and bicycle and ski associations, including Professional Ski Instructors of America.
